On June 6th I will be flying out to spend 10 weeks in Yokosuka, Japan through a program called Camp Adventure. I am super excited about this opportunity, and I intend to document some of the things I'm doing while there here on this blog so that my friends and family can see what is going on in my life during these 10 weeks. Time in Japan is 14 hours ahead of time here at home, so won't be very easy to communicate with each other. I will return back to the States August 23rd, just in time to start my third year at UNI August 25th! Where does time go?
I'm really looking forward to this journey, and know that God has a plan for me and that it is good. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. I ask that you pray for His guidance in my life as I travel farther from home than I've ever been and for much longer than I've ever been away. I pray that each and every one of you has a wonderful summer as well!
